Mission: Reducing Child, Early and Forced Marriage (CEFM) in Balama town through raising awareness of the risks and identifying means and services.

 

This project  founded by the Canada Found for Local Initiative aims at raising awareness on early-marriage among vulnerable women, girls, men and boys living in rural and marginalized areas of Jordan. Through interactive and informative sessions, beneficiaries will have the opportunity to interact with experts and counselors from various fields of expertise, including sheikhs, imams and shari‘a court judges - to better understand issues related to early marriages and, therefore, will be empowered to take better informed decisions at the level of the household.
